EARTH GUARDIAN

The Bear is a creature rich in symbolism of cultures worldwide. This piece I focused on the Native American connection; the outer figures representing the Southwest, Northwest, and Plains Indians. The protective mother bear cradling the Earth and keeping her from harm.
