After midnight, late October, I was born in a car on a quiet country road in Northern Illinois. One of the favorite stories my Mom liked to tell. I must admit, it is a pretty amazing one. Coming into the world like that. My Mom was an amazing Woman. Thanks to her holding onto everything I drew, I still have my first creation at 18 months. My Mom and Sister, extraordinary  Artists in their own right,  were always my cheerleaders.

Art has always been my passion but made it a full time job in 1989. Specializing in Visionary, Shamanic Tribal, and Realistic Wildlife art work. Anything symbolic and with deep worldly meaning. It's important to keep a healthy, open minded spiritual outlook on life. As a teen my pursuit in school was Zoology. I have a talent for rehabilitating and studying wild animals, identifying birds on the wing, and being in remote places far from humanity. I wanted to be like Jane Goodall, a naturalist and be in the bush studying animals but soon realized where my calling lay. Combined with art and a love of the natural world, it has been a happy marriage.

Science Fiction and Fantasy Conventions is where I first sold my art at 16. Peddling hand stitched felt sculpture dragons at the local cons and selling clay sculptures while in High School. The World Science Fiction convention in Denver, CO, 1981 was the first place I displayed and sold my ink and chalk pastel drawings of dragons, fantastic creatures, and fantasy men. I am a geek at heart and fandom will always have a special place for me. During that span of several decades I have won countless awards in the Science Fiction and Fantasy convention art shows.

Upon going into the Art full time, my show worlds expanded. Renaissance Festival circuit, Pagan and Earth related Gatherings, New Age Expos and Festivals, Tattoo Conventions, Art Galleries, and Wildlife Art Shows. All embraced the various facets of my creativity. I have never been good at being categorized. Eclectic is at best, a word to describe it all.

Creative style expressed through a variety of medium.  Acrylic painting, colored and graphite pencils, pen and ink, airbrush and scratch board. Traditional flat surfaces and nontraditional organic surfaces. Natural skin stretched drum heads and medicine shields. Paintings on feathers which have achieved particular notoriety.

Being a self- taught and self published artist has been particularly    rewarding. The body of work includes: 300+ Limited Edition Print runs, a number of which are sold out now. 40+ T-shirt designs licensed with National and International Companies. Conceptual and Published work.
Countless commissioned and original pieces sold worldwide. Gallery proprietor and entrepreneur.

Always original, an Artistic rebel following creative roads less traveled.
